EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - Police in south Arkansas are searching for a suspected police impersonator who has stopped, or tried to stop, at least two vehicles.

The El Dorado News-Times reports (https://bit.ly/2apQS1u ) the latest incident was Wednesday when a 15-year-old boy reported a white car with red and blue flashing dashboard lights tried to stop him.

Police say the boy told officers the lights eventually were turned off and the car went in another direction.

On July 23 a woman reported she was stopped by a man driving a white car using red and blue flashing lights. The woman said the man had a badge and was carrying a gun.

She said the man ordered her out of her car and patted her down in a way that she believes was a sexual assault.
