GRAND BLANC, Mich. (AP) - A woman who gave birth after being shot at an apartment complex in Genesee County has died, the second person to die in the incident.

Grand Blanc police say 20-year-old Lyric Work was taken off life support Friday night, three days after the shooting at the leasing office at Grand Oaks Apartments.

Work’s baby girl, Marley, was delivered seven weeks early by cesarean section. She’s in stable condition.

Work worked in the leasing office with 45-year-old Tamara Johnson, who was killed Tuesday. Jacquelyne Tyson, who lived in the apartments, has been charged in the case. Investigators were trying to determine a motive.

Prosecutor David Leyton says the 54-year-old Tyson may have believed that people were entering her apartment without permission.
