BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. (AP) - Bradley Wright-Phillips volleyed home Connor Lade’s cross in the 90th minute to give the New York Red Bulls a 2-2 tie with the Chicago Fire on Sunday night.

The Red Bulls (9-9-5) took the early lead when Chicago’s Matt Polster scored an own goal in the 16th minute, attempting to clear away Mike Grella’s cross.

David Accam tied it for the Fire (4-10-6) with a low shot from behind the penalty arc in the 35th minute. Polster made it 2-1 in first-half stoppage time, scoring his first career MLS goal on a header off John Goossens’ cross.

The Fire improved their home unbeaten streak to nine but remained at the bottom of the Eastern Conference table. The Red Bulls held on to second place in the East, four points behind New York City FC.
