BEAR, Del. (AP) - Seven people were injured in a three-vehicle wreck in Bear.

First responders were called to Pulaski Highway and East Scotland Drive just before 9:20 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a three-vehicle pileup. When officers arrived they found a sedan, a compact car and a minivan in the wreckage.

Police say a five-year-old girl was treated for a head injury, leg injury and lacerations before she was airlifted to a hospital in serious condition. Also injured in the wreck were a 37-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, a 15-year-old girl, and three others.

State police are investigating the cause of the crash.
