WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A Delaware man has been arrested after police found in his possession more than 3,000 bags of heroin.

The Wilmington News-Journal reports (https://delonline.us/29hz9eB ) that 39-year-old Marcellus Jones was stopped at about 2:30 p.m. on Saturday after police officer noticed him committing several traffic violations in his Jeep Cherokee on the 3800 block of Kirkwood Highway. When the officers approached Jones’ Jeep they noticed an odor of marijuana and searched the vehicle. The officers found 3,054 bags of heroin and 135.6 grams of marijuana, worth roughly $7,000.

Jones was arrested and charged with several drug charges and three traffic violations.
