ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) - A 56-year-old Anchorage man will serve 13 1/2 years in a federal prison on drug charges.

U.S. District Court Judge Sharon Gleason cited Antonio D. Washington’s long criminal and violent history when sentencing him Tuesday in federal court in Anchorage.

A federal grand jury indicted Washington in December for distributing methamphetamine on four different occasions last year. Washington wound up pleading guilty to one count of the indictment in March and faced a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison.
