BREMEN, Germany (AP) - Werder Bremen striker Anthony Ujah is leaving the Bundesliga club to join Liaoning FC in the Chinese Super League.

Bremen business manager Frank Baumann says the club wanted to keep the Nigerian striker but he wanted to accept the offer from China.

Baumann declined to give financial details of the transfer. Ujah played one season for Bremen after coming from Cologne.

Ujah will join another former Bremen player at Liaoning, defender Assani Lukimya.
