NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say two brothers and their girlfriends have been stabbed during an apparent domestic dispute, leaving one of the men critically injured.

Newark police found the victims when they responded around 6 a.m. Tuesday to nearby homes on Shanley and Baldwin avenues addresses. The four were taken to a hospital, where one of the brothers was undergoing surgery.

The other three were being treated for undisclosed injuries and were listed in stable condition.

Further details about the domestic incident have not been released. The victims’ names have not been disclosed.
