ST. AMANT, La. (AP) - Ascension Parish deputies say four teens have been arrested and another is on the run after a home invasion in St. Amant.

Ascension Parish Lt. Col. Ward Webb tells local media that 19-year-old Brockton Waguespack, 18-year-old Reid Taber, 18-year-old Daryl Mitchell Jr. and an unidentified juvenile were arrested Sunday.

Webb says that early Sunday morning, five suspects, each armed with a handgun, entered a St. Amant home through an unlocked door.

Nothing was stolen, but Webb says the suspects were looking for drugs that they thought were in the residence.

The suspects got into a physical fight with a victim in the home. A gun discharged inside the residence, striking the ceiling.

Four of the suspects were arrested. The fifth, whose identity is unknown, is still at large.

It’s unclear whether the four arrested suspects have attorneys.
