GRANGEVILLE, Idaho (AP) - A 19-year-old man died and six juveniles, including the driver, sustained injuries in a rollover crash in northern Idaho.

Idaho State Police say the 16-year-old driver tried to pass four vehicles while driving southbound on U.S. Highway 95 at about 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say the driver saw northbound traffic and tried to get back in the southbound lane but lost control and overcorrected.

Police say Jose Santos of Grangeville wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and died at the scene.

Police say the driver and five juvenile passengers were transported to a hospital.
