DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) - Two Davenport teens have been charged in the June shooting death of another teenager.

The Quad-City Times reports (https://bit.ly/29rW8TC ) that the teens, ages 17 and 14, were arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder and intimidation with a dangerous weapon. The older teen was taken to the Scott County Jail, and the 14-year-old was taken to a juvenile detention center.

The Associated Press generally doesn’t name juveniles accused of crimes.

The teens are accused in the June 26 death of 15-year-old Ayana Culbreath. Police say the girl was shot while attending a gathering in the backyard of a home in north-central Davenport.
