WHITE RIVER JUNCTION, Vt. (AP) - Three people have been hospitalized following a car explosion at a business in White River Junction.

Authorities say it happened around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Investigators believe that torches being used to remove parts of a vehicle ignited old gasoline in the fuel tank of a 1970s Chevrolet Camaro.

The victims were taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Their conditions weren’t immediately known.

Firefighters extinguished the small fire.
