QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say an upstate New York woman has been hospitalized after she fell off a boat in the Hudson River and was struck by its propeller.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office says the boating accident happened at about 4 p.m. Tuesday about a mile north of a boat launch in Queensbury. Authorities say the 19-foot boat struck a wake, causing the driver to turn sharply and toss a 51-year-old Glen Falls woman into the water.

The woman was then struck by the boat’s propeller before being pulled from the water by other passengers. She was taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital, but her condition wasn’t immediately available.

Police say no tickets have been issued.
