PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts man has pleaded guilty to a dozen charges in connection with the sexual assaults of two girls more than a decade ago.

The Berkshire Eagle (https://bit.ly/29vEKk1 ) reports that 57-year-old Eric Cohen of New Marlborough was released on bail pending his sentencing hearing in Berkshire Superior Court on July 12.

Cohen pleaded guilty to charges including rape and abuse of a child aggravated by an age difference and indecent assault and battery on a person over 14.

The Berkshire District Attorney’s office says Cohen admitted to sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl between January 1992 and May 1994 in North Adams.

Prosecutors say he also admitted to raping a girl between September 2012 and January 2014 in New Marlborough. The girl was 15 when the assaults started.
