JACKSONVILLE FATAL SHOOTING - A Jacksonville man has been sentenced to life in prison for fatally shooting his girlfriend.

MAN ARRESTED-GROPING CHARGE-DISNEY - A youth baseball coach from Wisconsin has been arrested after Orange County deputies say he groped three children at a Disney resort.

CANAL DEATH - Authorities say a southwest Florida man appears to have drowned in a canal behind his home. The Sarasota Herald-Tribune (https://goo.gl/i9mSrV) reports that deputies responded to the Venice neighborhood Thursday afternoon following reports of a distressed swimmer. The sheriff’s office reports that divers found 56-year-old Edward Stack’s body after about 90 minutes of searching.
