PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say a 13-year-old boy has been shot in the leg by a man riding in a car involved in a road-rage incident.

Chief Inspector Scott Small says the shooting happened in the city’s Hunting Park section about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say a woman had driven through the neighborhood and apparently became angry when people yelled at her for driving too fast near children. She returned moments later with a male passenger who fired at least eight shots into a crowd, wounding the boy.

He’s been taken to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where his condition wasn’t immediately available.

Police are searching for the suspects and the car involved, which may have been a late model white Honda.
