AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Authorities say a family in Auburn awoke to find a burglar inside their home.

According to AL.com (https://bit.ly/29yUDWD), police say 26-year-old John. B. Throneberry ran from the Lakeview Drive residence before officers arrived at about 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say officers quickly located a man who matched the description of the suspect and arrested him.

Throneberry is charged with second-degree murder. He is being held at the Lee County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

It was not immediately known if Throneberry has an attorney.
