SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man who they suspect was wounded after robbing a credit union last week.

The sheriff’s office says 44-year-old Jeremy John was arrested Tuesday night at a local hotel.

The sheriff’s office says they believe John was the man who was shot and wounded by a bystander after the STCU Credit Union in the Spokane Valley was robbed last Thursday. The robber fled the scene after apparently being shot.

The Spokesman-Review says John is being treated at a local hospital for injuries to his right arm and hip. Sheriff’s deputies, working with the Spokane Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service, traced John to the hotel.
