CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The YMCA of the Kanawha Valley is offering a free day camp to children who are flood victims.

Media outlets report that the camp is offered from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday until Aug. 5 at Coonskin Park.

Fawn Washington, youth director at the Charleston Family YMCA, says there are enough volunteers to add up to 100 campers, ages 5 to 13, from the affected areas to its summer day camp.

Campers can enjoy activities like swimming, badminton and horseshoes. They will also receive free lunch each day.

Sign-ups will continue from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Clendenin and Pinch volunteer fire departments.

Anyone seeking additional information can contact the YMCA at 304-340-3527.
