SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Police say they’ve arrested two people suspected in a southern Utah man’s mysterious disappearance and one is the mother of his child.

The Spectrum newspaper in St. George reports (https://bit.ly/29iAWwY) that David Heisler remains missing more than a week after his father found bloodstains throughout his home and called police.

Authorities say they’ve arrested Kelley M. Perry and Francis McCard on suspicion of aggravated kidnapping, burglary and vehicle theft. Heisler’s car was found abandoned in Beaver Dam, Arizona.

Police didn’t elaborate on what led them to the pair.

Investigators say Perry and Heisler have a 6-year-old daughter together and he got full custody of the girl about two weeks before his disappearance.

No attorneys were immediately listed for Perry or McCard in court records.
