CAPE MAY, N.J. (AP) - The Cape May-Lewes Ferry is operating under a modified schedule because one of the boats that shuttles passengers and vehicles between New Jersey and Delaware was taken out of service.

Two ferries are running because the motor vessel Delaware needs crank shift repairs to one of its new main engines. The new engines are under warranty.

Officials say making reservations are more important than ever during the repairs.
