REHOBOTH, Mass. (AP) - Police say a two-car collision in Rehoboth (ruh-HOH’-buth) has left one woman dead and two people injured.

The crash happened just before 6 p.m. Wednesday. Police say a pickup truck was apparently traveling west on Hornbine Road and another vehicle was southbound on Simmons Street. The two cars collided as the second car turned onto Hornbine.

The 21-year-old driver of the second car was extricated from the vehicle. Police say she succumbed to her injuries at Rhode Island Hospital.

The two occupants of the truck were hospitalized with injuries not considered life-threatening. No one was immediately identified.

Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash. It remains under investigation.
