TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police have found the vehicle belonging to a bumper left at the scene of a fatal shooting.

Police say the owner of the vehicle told police he loaned the car to someone else earlier that week and that it was missing the bumper when returned.

The shooting occurred June 28 at around 8 p.m. after an altercation in a home. A car that fled the scene hit a fence, leaving behind the front bumper before driving away.

Authorities have located the borrowed vehicle’s driver, whose identity wasn’t released, and are still looking for other people who were in the car.

Officers found 30-year-old Enrique Bracamonte with gunshot wounds in a nearby road upon arriving at the scene. Bracamonte later died at a hospital.
