BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - High winds picked up and dropped a camper truck on Interstate 94 and blew over a semi-truck, injuring the driver.

The National Weather Service says a microburst caused the high winds at about 2 p.m. Wednesday between Miles City and Terry.

Miles City Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Branden Larsen tells The Billings Gazette (https://bit.ly/29ksOfx ) the driver of the camper truck reported watching in his rear-view mirror as the wind picked up the camper, then picked up the truck before both crashed to the ground.

The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital in Miles City, Larsen did not believe his injuries were life-threatening.

The National Weather Service says wind speeds of 52 mph were recorded in Miles City at about 1:50 p.m. Wednesday.
