SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Four-star recruit Taurean Thompson has committed to the Syracuse Orange, according to coach Jim Boeheim.

The 6-foot-10 forward, who attended Brewster Academy in New Hampshire for the past year, was ranked 85th overall by Scout.com and 84th by Rivals.com.

Prior to attending Brewster, Thompson prepped at St. Anthony’s High School (N.J.) under coach Bob Hurley Sr.

Thompson joins guard Tyus Battle and forward Matthew Moyer, who both signed with Syracuse last November. A fourth member of the 2016 recruiting class, point guard John Gillon, transferred to Syracuse from Colorado State and will be eligible immediately for one season.
