Glendale police say the wife of one of the victims of a triple shooting has been arrested in the case and that evidence indicates she may have been in a romantic involvement with the man accused of pulling the trigger.

Police Sgt. Scott Waite says 39-year-old Kim LaCount is accused of conspiracy to commit murder in the June 6 fatal shootings of her husband and her mother-in-law and the wounding of her father-in-law.

Waite says 34-year-old Kipling Harris is accused of murder and attempted murder.

The shootings occurred in the home where LaCount lived with her husband, 47-year-old Alex Kuhn, and his parents, Peggy and Robert Kuhn, and the younger couple’s children.

Police had said immediately after the shooting that officers had responded to a 911 call from LaCount and that she said took refuge in a closet her children in a bedroom after hearing loud banging noises.

Waite says new information indicates that LaCount knew what was transpiring elsewhere in the house.
