BOSTON (AP) - A body pulled from a Massachusetts river has been identified as that of a man suspected of fatally stabbing a college professor and then jumping from a bridge.

Authorities announced Wednesday a medical examiner has not determined a cause of death for Tyler Hagmaier, whose body was discovered in Gill on Monday afternoon by Selectman Greg Snedeker and his daughter in the reeds 30 feet from shore.

Gill is about 120 miles from Plymouth, where Hagmaier lived.

Authorities believe Hagmaier jumped from the French King Bridge into the Connecticut River about a mile upstream on May 6.

Hagmaier was suspected of fatally stabbing his neighbor Quincy College professor Vibeke Rasmussen in her apartment the day before.
