MEDORA, N.D. (AP) - The U.S. Postal Service is dedicating a new stamp that highlights the Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the North Dakota Badlands.

The stamp shows a scenic image of the Little Missouri River winding through the park. The photograph was taken in July 2013 by Q.T. Luong, who captured the image as part of a 20-year project to photograph 59 national parks.

The stamp is one of 16 National Parks Forever Stamps that will be unveiled throughout the country. The designs are meant to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.

The ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday at the Medora Community Center.
