A look at what’s happening all around the majors today:

___

REYES RETURNS

Rockies shortstop Jose Reyes is starting a rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque after completing his suspension for violating Major League Baseball’s new domestic violence policy. Reyes will make his way to Albuquerque after working out at extended spring training in Scottsdale, Arizona. There is no timetable for his return to the Rockies after the 59-day suspension that stemmed from a domestic violence charge for an altercation with his wife last October.

TOUGH MONTH

Mets ace Jacob deGrom (3-1, 2.81 ERA) seeks his first victory since April 30 when New York hosts the White Sox. The right-hander had a 3.86 ERA and went 0-1 over five starts in May.

TRADING UP

Jason Grilli is expected to join the Blue Jays bullpen after being acquired from the Braves on Tuesday for a pitching prospect. A 39-year-old right-hander, Grilli is 1-2 with a 5.29 ERA and two saves in his comeback from a career-threatening injury - his 2015 season ended when tore his left Achilles tendon on July 11.

NEW STREAK

Rangers left-hander Cole Hamels (5-1, 3.34 ERA) looks to start a new winning streak when he faces the Indians. He had a career-long 12-game streak snapped in his last start, a 9-1 loss Friday against Pittsburgh. Hamels also had his shortest outing with Texas since being acquired last season when he pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed six runs.

WINNING WAYS

Unbeaten since last July, Red Sox right-hander Joe Kelly (2-0, 6.30 ERA) goes for his 11th straight win in a matchup against the Orioles. Kelly beat Tampa Bay on Aug. 1 and won his next seven starts before closing out the 2015 season with a no-decision against the Orioles.
