BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A man who walked away from North Dakota’s Missouri River Correctional Center nearly a month ago has been arrested in Tennessee.

Leroy Hollman went missing from the unfenced, minimum-security Bismarck lockup on May 2. The Bismarck Tribune reports ( ) that he was arrested Monday in Newport, Tennessee, where he has family.

Hollman allegedly was in possession of a car registered in South Dakota that had been stolen in Bismarck. Authorities say he will face charges in Tennessee before being extradited to North Dakota, where he was serving time for drug possession, theft and giving false information to law enforcement. He was expected to get out of prison in about a year.
