PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Philadelphia police say an off-duty officer fired a shot when he returned home to find a burglary in progress.

Philly.com (https://bit.ly/1UgImk5 ) reports the incident happened about 1:10 p.m. Tuesday in the city’s Mayfair section.

Police say nobody was wounded in the shooting and that two suspects were arrested. A third suspect ran away and has yet to be caught.

Police didn’t immediately identify the suspects or the officer involved.
