LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in North Las Vegas are describing a man they’re looking for in an apparent road-rage shooting that killed a 35-year-old man in a vehicle driven by his girlfriend with their preschool-age child in the back seat.

Officer Aaron Patty says detectives are looking for a dark-colored Mitsubishi Eclipse from which several shots were fired about 3:30 a.m. May 20 near Craig Road and 5th Street.

The driver was described as 20-year-old man with short dark hair.

Patty says witnesses told police there might have been three other people in his car.

The Clark County coroner says Joseph Deion Jackson was killed by a gunshot to the head.

Police say Jackson’s girlfriend and child weren’t injured.
