PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) - Pueblo police say state authorities are joining the investigation into the disappearance of a Denver woman there in 2013.

The Pueblo Chieftain (https://bit.ly/1Pk8YVJ) reported Wednesday that the city’s police chief recently asked the Colorado Bureau of Investigations for help in the Kelsie Schelling case and a CBI investigator is expected to meet with police next week.

Schelling, who was pregnant, disappeared after going to meet her boyfriend in Pueblo. Her parents believe her boyfriend is to blame and have been critical of the police’s investigation. The case was recently featured on the television show “20/20”.
