RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - The state banking commissioner has been confirmed for the post for another three years.

The Senate gave unanimous approval Wednesday to Gov. Pat McCrory’s reappointment of Ray Grace, who has worked in the banking office for more than 40 years in several roles. He has been in the commissioner’s job since 2012. The House already confirmed Grace last month.

Grace’s new term lasts through March 2019.

Grace is a New York native and Vietnam War veteran.
