CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A proposal to place Sunday hunting on the November ballot will come up at the next Kanawha County Commission meeting.

The meeting is set for 5 p.m. Thursday.

The County Commission said in a news release that the county Planning Commission recommended putting the issue on the ballot at their meeting Wednesday after a public hearing.

Sunday hunting would be restricted to private property and would require the landowner’s consent.
