PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) - Police say a suspected drunk driver has been arrested after allegedly triggering several crashes involving police and fire vehicles in Peoria.

They say 35-year-old David Flemm is facing a DUI charge and possible other charges.

He was injured in Thursday’s crash and needed hospital treatment.

It’s unclear if he has a lawyer yet.

Police say Flemm initially crashed his pickup truck into a Peoria Fire-Medical vehicle and drove away just before noon Thursday.

A Peoria Animal Control officer witnessed the hit-and-run and called police.

Flemm reportedly continued driving and struck a parked code-enforcement truck and police motorcycle that both had emergency lights on.

The impact caused Flemm’s vehicle to roll over and land on its side.
