ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities say a chase on Interstate 20 in DeKalb County during the Tuesday morning rush hour led to multiple crashes, three arrests and one person injured.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (https://on-ajc.com/1Pssxpz ) reports that at least seven cars were involved in crashes that blocked two of the four westbound lanes on I-20 at Panola Road after a truck was reported stolen from a gas station and a Rockdale County sheriff gave chase.

DeKalb police Maj. Stephen Fore said, “There were 3 hit-and-run accidents when a stolen vehicle pursued by Rockdale sheriff units struck these vehicles and continued.”

He said one person received minor injuries during a crash and was transported to a hospital.

A Rockdale sheriff’s official said two guns were recovered and three people were arrested.

No other details were released.
