PENNSAUKEN, N.J. (AP) - Police say a driver is dead and a passenger was hurt after a car hit a home in southern New Jersey.

Police say Quendell Riley was driving in Pennsauken around noon Monday when he lost control of his vehicle at a high rate of speed, went through a fence and hit a vacant home. The 41-year-old Camden man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Courier-Post in Cherry Hill reports police say it appears the driver appeared to be suffering a medical emergency at the time.

His 38-year-old passenger, Archie Walden, was hospitalized and is listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating.
