KLAWOCK, Alaska (AP) - Two drivers were seriously injured in a weekend head-on crash on Prince of Wales Island.

Both were medically evacuated to Seattle.

Troopers say a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Ronnie Kasinger of Klawock (klah-WAHK) late Saturday night crossed the centerline of Mile 14 Salt Road and crashed into a second vehicle.

Both drivers were rushed to a Klawock clinic before being flown to Seattle.

The name of the second driver was not immediately released.

Troopers say drugs and alcohol were factors in the crash.
