ARDMORE, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma State Bureau of investigation says a suspect in the shooting death of a teenager in Seminole County has been arrested in Ardmore.

The OSBI says the 19-year-old man was arrested Monday for first-degree murder, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Court records do not show that formal charges have been filed.

The agency says the man is suspected in the Sunday shooting death of 17-year-old Seth Johnson.

Authorities say the suspect then took Johnson’s sport utility vehicle and drove to Ardmore where police stopped him for a traffic violation. The OSBI says the man fled the traffic stop, but was later found hiding in the backyard of a home in Ardmore.
