MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Police say a man and woman from Alabama who fled to New York after allegedly shooting a man as he sat inside his car are now being held without bond back in their home town.

According to AI.com (https://bit.ly/1WN4pFV ), police say 25-year-old Kierro Nelson and 19-year-old Cymone Thompson 19, both of Montgomery, were extradited back to Alabama on June 11 and June 12 after being arrested by U.S. Marshals in Hempstead, New York, on May 28.

The pair is accused of fatally shooting 24-year-old Jordan Wilson, of Montgomery.

In court records, police say Nelson and Thompson, armed with handguns, went to Virginia Pines apartments just before 10:30 p.m. on April 27 and shot Wilson as he sat in his car. He died the next day.

Nelson and Thompson are being held at the Montgomery County Detention facility. It wasn’t immediately clear if either has an attorney.
