MARATHON, Fla. (AP) - The Coast Guard has found the two boaters who were reported missing off the coast of the Florida Keys.

Raymond and Davonna Churchill were found by an aircrew on their 41-foot sailing vessel in southeast of the Marquesas Keys on Wednesday after they failed to arrive at the Keys Boatworks Marina on Sunday.

Coast Guard officials say they received a report from the marina manager on Tuesday that the couple went missing.

Once the boat was located, aircrews established a line of communication and the boaters were not found in distress.

Coast Guard officials are encouraging boaters to leave detailed information with friends and family before embarking on a vessel. This information includes the embarking location, the intended route and how long the trip will be.
