SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward as Sparks police continue to search for the driver of a car wanted in connection with a hit-and-run crash with a motorcyclist near U.S. Interstate 80.

Police say 21-year-old Tyler Cook was headed north on Rock Boulevard near I-80 in Sparks at about 5:20 p.m. Tuesday when a car abruptly changed lanes in front of him.

Cook’s motorcycle struck the rear of the car. He was taken to a Reno hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect vehicle was a blue or green older model 4-door sedan that was missing a passenger side mirror. It also likely has damage to the right rear quarter panel.

Anyone with information should call Sparks police at 775-353-2432 or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
