DETROIT (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a man’s body was found under a southbound overpass on Interstate 75 in Detroit.

Michigan State Police Lt. Mike Shaw says a crew cutting grass in the area found the man’s body around 10:50 a.m. Tuesday. The man was declared dead at the scene.

Shaw says there were no obvious signs of foul play, but Michigan State Police are treating the death as a homicide investigation until the Wayne County Medical Examiner rules otherwise.

The man’s identity wasn’t released Tuesday evening.
