BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Louisiana State Police executed search warrants across the state and seized three large caches of child pornography, including videos depicting the rape of infants, in a series of raids that led to three arrests.

Col. Mike Edmonson, the State Police superintendent, said in a news release its Special Victims Unit found more than 1 million illicit files scattered across 800 DVDs, 13 portable storage devices, cellphones and laptop computers.

Edmonson said it was the largest seizure of child pornography in Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections history.

Those arrested include 30-year-old Steven Lucia, of LaPlace, 51-year-old James Dalton Vail, of Shreveport and 35-year-old Nicholas Bordelon of Hessmer.

Edmonson their investigation is continuing.

Online jail records do not list attorney for the three men.
