LA CROSSE, Wis. (AP) - Medical professionals say a mix of illegal and prescription drugs caused the death of a University of Wisconsin-La Crosse student.

Mayo Clinic officials have released more information about the death of freshman Connor Glynn. Students found him unresponsive in his bed at Angell Hall April 10. He died at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester April 14. Mayo says Glynn died from complications of mixing heroin with an anti-anxiety drug. The La Crosse Tribune (https://bit.ly/25XBX9x ) says the death has been ruled accidental.

UW-La Crosse Police Chief Scott McCullough says the investigation into Glynn’s death continues.
