NEW YORK (AP) - Police are searching for two men who used a hand truck to wheel an ATM out of a New York City smoke shop over the weekend.

WCBS-TV reports (https://cbsloc.al/28E21Fl ) the men entered the Ozone Howard Convenience Store in Queens Sunday afternoon and walked away with nearly $8,000 in the ATM.

Surveillance video shows a man in a helmet buying a soda and a lotto ticket before guarding the ATM. Another man is seen dropping change, possibly while looking to see if the machine was attached to floor.

The suspects then unplug the machine and wheel it out to a green sport utility vehicle. The men were armed.

Police found the cracked machine and brought it back to the store. It was empty.
