TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Motorists are seeing slightly lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gas in the state on Friday was $2.13, down 2 cents from last week. That’s also much lower than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $2.62.

The national average price on Friday was $2.35, down 3 cents from last week. But that’s still much lower than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $2.80.

Analysts say fuel prices in New Jersey will likely stay stable, noting oil prices have fallen in recent days.
