DENVER (AP) - Wildlife officials have euthanized a bear that was seen wandering southwest Denver and Littleton neighborhoods this week.

The Denver Post reports (https://dpo.st/1OvZtm0 ) that the bear attracted attention Thursday when it made its way through a residential neighborhood and then climbed into a tree.

Colorado Parks and Wildlife spokeswoman Jennifer Churchill says the bear had to be euthanized after it came down from the tree because it was tagged and had been relocated last year.
