CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) - Police say a Cedar City man was killed after a head-on collision.

Police spokesman Jimmy Roden tells The Spectrum of St. George (https://bit.ly/265CaaA) that the crash occurred Saturday around 6 a.m.

A Kia Soul was traveling south on Main Street when another car turned onto the street.

Roden says the driver of the Kia veered into the northbound lane and ended up colliding with a pickup truck.

The 42-year-old male driver of the Kia died at the scene.



According to Roden, he was not wearing a seat belt.

The woman driving the pickup suffered serious injuries.

Her condition was not immediately known Sunday.

The crash remains under investigation.
